Many congratulation to Emma Raducanu for her superb display at Wimbledon, Emma started playing tennis at the age of five at the Bromley Tennis Academy. Emma was a pupil at Newstead Wood School in Orpington which is a state grammar school. The starlet, who has just finished her A-levels, was spotted by her coaches Matt James and Nigel Sears during a warm up session and she has since won three singles titles on the ITF Circuit.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson wished her good luck ahead of the game and congratulated her on getting this far.
Emma became the youngest British woman to reach the fourth round of the singles at Wimbledon since 1959 on Saturday. It is a miraculous achievement for a player whose world ranking of 338 was the lowest in the women's draw.
Well done Emma we are all very proud of you, go for it girl.
