Grillardin Charcoal available now.
Yesterday marked a day in history for Cleaner Products as we received our first consignment of Grillardin Charcoal, Today chef Tom Aikens was the first of our clients to receive a delivery.
Pictured here is our CEO Nathan Reilly delivering the Grillardin charcoal products to Tom Aiken and his Head Chef Aaron Harris at the wonderful Michelin Star Restaurant Muse in Belgravia. https://musebytomaikens.co.uk
We now have stock of:
Binchotan Also known as white charcoal, Binchotan is made by further carbonising black charcoal, the process of making Binchotan requires higher heat and longer carbonisation to remove unburnt wood oils, what is left behind is a product which is 95% carbon, it burns hotter and longer than black charcoal with less smoke and ash. Binchotan hardwood charcoal is ideal for Konro style grills where high temperatures and quick grilling is required.
Briquettes Crafted from compressed hardwood sawdust, our briquettes undergo extended firing to further carbonise, this process makes Grillardin Briquettes burn hotter for longer 5-6 hours burn time, giving consistent heat over that time, standard briquettes generally burn for no more than 2-3 hours. Grillardin briquettes enable a chef to cook on a consistent heat throughout the lunch or dinner service, used in ceramic ovens extended cooking times could reach in excess of 12 hours.
Grillardin is dedicated to providing high-quality products that elevate the grilling experience, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the chefs that are playing their part in bringing the project to market. Their time and effort have been invaluable and the comparisons are highlighting improved burn times, the best flavour profiles and real cost savings.
